Municipal officials are doing what they can to prevent any further damage to a section of Erie Shore Drive after major flooding last month.
The road, which was the subject of a localized state of emergency, is being reduced to a one-lane, one way street between Bisnett Line and Erieau Road.
Public Works crews will be installing concrete blocks down the centre of the road, limiting traffic to eastbound only.
Local officials are waiting for an update from the province’s Minister of Agriculture, Food, and Rural Affairs and disaster assessment team, who recently came to assess the damage.
