A weapons call in Tilbury has landed one man with charges.
Chatham-Kent Police received a call on Sunday about a man walking on Canal Street East with a handgun followed by the sound of shots being fired.
Police contained the area and found the suspect in a nearby apartment.
Authorities say the gun involved was an air pistol.
The accused has been charged with possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose and was released with a date in court next month.
