A pair of upcoming exhibits are showcasing the transformative power of art.

The Co. will be hosting two inspirational art shows this month. The community-based studio at 208 Queen Street in Chatham focuses on mental health, creativity, and collaboration.

The first exhibit, “Pocket Ghosts” by the Co.’s artist in residence, Dani Devereaux, takes place Saturday, July 12 and features Polaroid emulsion and sculpture. Devereaux says her work aims to speak to those who feel fractured, split across time and space, while trying to maintain valued human connection.

On Saturday, July 19, Chatham-Kent artist Genevieve Champagne takes the spotlight with Sun and Flora. Champagne’s vibrant water colours and handmade sun catchers are rooted in nature, reflection, and resilience — inspired by her own journey through life’s darker moments and the quiet strength it takes to seek out light.

Both events run from 6-7pm, and are free of charge and open to everyone.
