A midday fire has caused substantial damage to a home in Shrewsbury.
Firefighters from Station 18 and 14 were called to the home on Wellington St. around 12:20 this afternoon.
Crews knocked down the blaze in short order and kept the fire from spreading to the entire home.
Nobody was home at the time, damage is pegged at 120k.
