Listen in all this week at 3:40 pm as Jay Smith features Jason G. Ridge and his anti-bullying single “Heartbeat” on the Local Spotlight!
Two Chatham-Kent residents have created an anti-bullying message to bring awareness, and to try to put an end to it once and for all.

In the wake of the Amanda Todd tragedy, singer/songwriter Jason G. Ridge felt compelled to write a song to raise awareness and help fight bullying. Jason then contacted Wade Vermeersch to help send out the message. With both their hard work finished they are excited to release Jason’s single ‘Heartbeat’, the official music video, the behind the scenes video, and their public service announcement.

“We’re proud of what we’ve brought to fruition in this short three-week span, from the recording studio, to the final upload of our music video. To be able to release this during Anti-bullying week is amazing”, says Wade.

Below are links to the music video, behind the scenes video, the public-service announcement, and Jason’s blog post for the project. There is also a link below where you can buy the single, and part of the proceeds will be donated to Kids Help Phone-Canada.
