Eight people were taken to hospital following a single vehicle collision east of Chatham.
Emergency crews responded to Kent Bridge Road near Fairview Line shortly before 7 Sunday morning.
Investigators say the vehicle was heading east on Fairview Line when it missed a stop sign at Kent Bridge and crashed into a ditch on the opposite side of the road.
All eight occupants were taken to the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance. Four victims were later air-lifted to receive further treatment at London Victoria Hospital and Windsor Reginal with serious injuries.
