Three men and three women are facing drug trafficking charges after police raided two locations in Chatham.
The Chatham-Kent Police Service said officers executed two search warrants on Wednesday and seized over $1,170 in fentanyl and hydromorphone. Officers also located and seized multiple digital scales, ammunition, and a large amount of Canadian currency.
As a result, six Chatham residents — a 52-year-old man, a 45-year-old man, a 39-year-old man, a 36-year-old woman, a 31-year-old woman, and a 28-year-old woman — are each facing multiple charges for possession for the purpose of trafficking in a controlled substance.
All six of the accused have been released with future court dates.
