Ontario is slowly rolling out new enhanced vaccine certificates and QR codes.
Premier Doug Ford will be joined by Health Minister Christine Elliott; Kaleed Rasheed, Associate Minister of Digital Government; and Ontario’s Chief Medical Officer Dr. Kieran Moore, later this morning to provide an update on Ontario’s enhanced COVID-19 vaccine certificate and verification app.
Proof of vaccination is needed to get into certain non-essential businesses and venues – the new versions will be required as of October 22nd.
Those born between January and April can download their enhanced certificate and QR code today, tomorrow for those born between May and August, and anyone born between September and December can get theirs on Sunday.
After that, the certificates and codes will be available for everyone.
You can also call the Provincial Vaccine Contact Centre at 1-833-943-3900 to have your enhanced vaccine certificate emailed or mailed to you.
