Local children’s charities will be getting a boost with the return of the annual Tim Hortons Smile Cookie campaign.
100% of proceeds from each Smile Cookie purchased in Chatham, Wallaceburg, and Dresden going towards the Children’s Treatment Centre Foundation.
Tim Hortons in Blenheim, Bothwell, Thamesville, Ridgetown, and Mill Street in Tilbury are supporting the Chatham-Kent Student Nutrition Program, and proceeds from Smile Cookies purchased at the eastbound 401 On Route near Tilbury will benefit Big Brothers-Big Sisters of Chatham-Kent.
The Smile Cookie program started in 1996 to help raise funds for the Hamilton Children’s Hospital in Ontario.
Across Canada, the 2022 Smile Cookie campaign raised more than $15-million, supporting over 600 charities, hospitals, and community groups nation-wide.
