A local Tim Hortons has raised thousands of dollars to support emergency food and housing assistance in the community.

The Holiday Smile Cookie Campaign at the Tim Hortons in Tilbury was held between November 17–23, bringing in a total of $6,300.

Half of the proceeds will help fund Tim Hortons Foundation Camp Days, while the other half will go to the Tilbury Information & H.E.L.P. Centre, which is a program of United Way Centraide Windsor-Essex Chatham-Kent.

The centre provides emergency support and essential referral services, including emergency food assistance, support with social housing applications, resume writing, and access to community computers.
