Chatham-Kent loves their cookies. Especially when the treats are for a good cause.
This year’s Tim Horton’s Smile Cookie Campaign raised $36,103 for the Chatham-Kent Children’s Treatment Centre.
100% of the proceeds from the purchase of Smile Cookies at Tim’s in Wallaceburg, Dresden and select Chatham locations owned by Mike & Paula Grail were donated directly to the Treatment Centre.
This year’s total is more than $1,000 over last year’s total.
Tim’s locations in Bothwell, Blenheim, Ridgetown and Thamesville also supported the CK Student Nutrition Program while proceeds from the two stores in Tilbury are going the Student Nutrition Program and Big Brothers/Big Sisters.
Last year, the Tim Hortons Smile Cookie campaign raised a record of $10.56 million in one week for 550 charities, hospitals and community groups across Canada.
