Smoke Alarms Ensured No Injuries in Overnight Fire

$200,000 in damage has been done following an overnight fire in Wallaceburg.

Fire fighters from Wallaceburg and Chatham responded to the blaze on Bruce Street just before 12:30am.

No injuries have been reported. Fire officials say working smoke alarms in the building helped to ensure everyone got out safely.

The cause has been listed as accidental.
