If you’re waiting for a special delivery ahead of Valentine’s Day, it won’t be coming in the mail today.
Canada Post has issued a red delivery service alert across the province, meaning all deliveries are suspended for the day, and mail carriers.
Officials say the safety of the crown corporation’s employees is their number one priority. Delivery and mail collection will resume once conditions improve and it’s safe to do so.
In the meantime, property owners are encouraged to clear snow and ice from their walkways, stairs, and driveways to ensure safe access to the front door.
