Fundraising totals are in from this past weekend’s Sod Buster run in Ridgetown.
Over 300 participants walked and ran in the second annual event, raising $30,000 for the proposed Crop Research and Innovation Centre at Ridgetown Campus.
$20,000 was raised by the community and agriculture partners, and another $10,000 came in the form of in-kind gifts.
Organizers say the event would not have been possible without the support of a team of 35 volunteers.
