A local man has been arrested after allegedly trying to buy drugs in a Tilbury neighbourhood.
The Chatham-Kent Police Service said officers were contacted by a concerned citizen at around 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday to report two suspicious men on Canal Street East.
The men were seen approaching pedestrians and vehicles in the area attempting to purchase illicit drugs.
Officers were able to identify both men who were later located on Young Street.
One of the men, a 28-year-old from Tilbury, was arrested on an outstanding warrant that had been issued by police in Windsor. He has since been transferred to the Windsor Police Service.
