Organizers of an online auction to support the family of Seth Nottley are overwhelmed.

The Facebook auction put together by the Sombra Optimist Club, and a couple of side fundraisers brought in $17,768 to support the Port Lambton family.

That includes $14,788 from the auction itself, which will be split between the family and Ronald McDonald House in London.

Hair cutting challenges from JC Kerwin and Caleb O’Leary raised a total of $1980, going directly to the family. Another $1000 personal donation was made to the Nottleys.

10-year-old Seth Nottley has been in hospital in London since going into cardiac arrest at his school in Port Lambton on March 25th.
