As new provincial restrictions come into effect today, the municipality is temporarily shutting down some of its facilities.
That includes the Capitol Theatre, Cultural Centre, ArtSpace, and indoor sports and recreation facilities, including arenas and municipal pools.
Officials say all other buildings, including Health and Family Services, municipal service centres, libraries, and customer service desks will remain open, although some may have altered hours of operation.
A number of municipal services can be found online at www.chatham-kent.ca. Residents also have the option of speaking with a customer service representative at 519-360-1998 or by calling 3-1-1.
