A snowy start to the day, but it seems Chatham-Kent has missed the worst of a winter storm sweeping across southern Ontario.

While some areas are expecting 20 cm or more, less than 5m is expected locally once it’s all said and done.

Areas south of the 401, including Blenheim and Ridgetown, received as much as 10cm of snow, while places like Wallaceburg saw almost no snowfall overnight.

Wind could be the biggest factor however, with gusts up to 50 km/hr and blowing snow.

All school buses are running today.
