Provincial Police have arrested a North York woman following a traffic stop on the westbound 401 near Chatham-Kent.
Shortly before 11:30 the night of April 7th, an officer clocked a vehicle travelling 151 kilometres an hour on the highway near Dutton.
The investigating officer believed the driver was showing signs of impairment. Authorities say the woman performed poorly on a roadside sobriety test and was taken to the OPP detachment for drug tests.
The 32-year-old is charged with various offences, including driving while impaired by alcohol and drugs, stunt driving, and driving without a license or insurance.
The woman was issued a 90 day license suspension and had her vehicle impounded for 14 days.
