Big double OT win for the Maroons at home last night over Leamington. Chatham will wrap up the pre-season on the road in LaSalle tonight. Puck drop is 7pm.

Chatham also announced the addition of forward Dallas Anderson. Anderson played the last two years in the Essex 73’s system and joined the Maroons mid-way through camp.

More local hockey news – PJHL Stobbs Division convenor Mark Hagerman is taking on a larger role this season. Hagerman has been named the Western Conference Manager and will serve under the provincial commissioner.

Meanwhile, the full schedule for the PJHL regular season was released yesterday. The puck drops Sunday, September 15th. On opening night, Blenheim will host the newly named Wallaceburg Thunderhawks at 7pm. Dresden opens the season in Wheatley on September 18th. And congrats to the Chatham Attack Boys under-17 soccer team who swept both league and district Cup honours in the Elgin-Middlesex District Soccer League.
