Chad Price has spent the last decade painstakingly carving out a career in the music industry that has seen him emerge as much more than just a promising and versatile musical talent. Today, as Chad stands on the precipice of releasing a whole slew of new music, he has evolved from a bashful singer-songwriter into a savvy, seasoned, confident, and respected artist/entrepreneur who literally does it all. As an independent artist, Chad has been able to do things on both the artist side and business side that even some major label artists struggle to accomplish with a whole team behind them.
Representing himself, Chad has secured multiple national and international TV sync deals (MTV, MUCH, TSN), had a commercial radio charting song, accumulated millions of music streams, toured Canada and parts of the US, UK, and Asia, and has been invited to share the live stage and/or work with artists like Ben Harper, The National, Half Moon Run, JP Saxe, Loud Luxury, Lights, Walk Off The Earth, Donovan Woods, Justin Nozuka, Tyler Shaw, and many more. His efforts have also seen him awarded numerous arts grants, play major festivals and events like Festival d’été de Québec, Music Matters in Singapore, and Juno Week in London, be nominated for and awarded multiple regional music awards, and be a featured artist on CTV’s hit TV show “The Launch”.
Since releasing his latest singles “Somehow, Someway”, “I Live Alone”, and “Weight”, replete with stunningly cinematic and depth-laden music videos, Chad has manufactured significant momentum in the form of streams and views (over 500,000 Spotify streams and over 75,000 Youtube views) and forcing himself into the national discussion when it comes to emerging artists. In the same time-frame, Chad has received steady support from CBC Radio as well as Campus Radio across the country, and has been nominated for Best Pop Artist in his hometown of London, Ontario (Forest City London Music Awards).
In this sink or swim industry, Chad has thrown himself blindly into the deep end all in the pursuit of development and growth.
