TUNE IN THIS WEEK FOR CHATHAM’S ELLIOTT MILLSON ON THE #SPOTLIGHT – HEARD DAILY AT 11:30AM DURING WEEKDAZE WITH JAY!
Elliott Millson is one of Chatham-Kent’s newest and youngest talents on the rise. Remember the name.
A graduate of UCC The Pines, the 19-year-old Millson is not just a singer-songwriter, but an artist every sense of the word.
A very keen sketch artist and graphic designer, Elliott is currently studying Game-Art at George Brown College with his hopes on becoming a gaming artist while continually moving forward with his music craft.
In 2020, Millson wrote, produced and recorded six tracks for his debut EP “Aartists Palette.” The EP, much like Millson himself, seems to be wise beyond its years and a little ahead of its time. Even more impressive, is that the then 18-year-old produced, mixed and mastered the tracks himself (self taught) at home using Garageband. Millson says the colourful tracks (literally) all detail different aspects of his teenage life.
Millson has added to his collection with the release of his brand new original single, Fresh Clothes, available now.
Millson is working towards his next big project, a full length 10-track album he hopes to release mid-summer. The album, titled “The Forest for the Trees”, is a nature themed album that tells stories of personal troubles with the use of relatable metaphors and imagery in hopes to encourage growth when looking at life as one big picture.
