CHECK OUT WINDSOR’S HUTTCH AND THE NEW ALBUM “HOME RUN” ALL THIS WEEK ON THE #SPOTLIGHT – HEARD DAILY AT 9:30AM DURING XS MORNINGS WITH JAY & ROBYN!

Inspired by a sneeze.
Seriously.
Finalists in Toronto’s Indie Week Competition in 2018, Windsor’s Huttch are one of Ontario’s up and coming acts to keep an eye on.
The brand new full length album “Home Run” is available now! Released on April 6th, Home Run is their fourth album and the first completely written, recorded and produced by the band over the course of the pandemic.
“By recording the album ourselves we were able to dial in our sound and the vibe for the album, it also holds some of our strongest songwriting.”
Rock n roll is a tired old friend, limping along with a weak knee. With the grandparents still touring, the parents reforming and the adolescents swimming in a pool of mediocrity, its essence seems to have lost its way. Thanks then, for the arrival of Huttch, the ambitious rock trio from Windsor Ontario.
Weaned on 70’s grooves, Sebastian, Robbie and Zack manage to reference the past, while giving a nod to the future. The infectious rock boogie, mixed with classic rock and slow jams, makes the perfect formula. This is authenticity at it’s best.  Seeing these guys live is an entirely different matter. Their fervent energy is palpable and they won’t let you go, until they are sure you have had enough. And it is never enough.
