Kaitlyn Frances is betting on herself.
Born and raised in Chatham and moving to Windsor at 21, Kaitlyn decided to drop out of the University of Windsor and her Psychology program in the fourth year to pursue her true passion – music.
“No one was expecting me to do that,” she tells 99.1. “My parents were nothing but supportive, and in disbelief by my ability to create music.”
Vocally trained since a young age, Kaitlyn had never published any music publicly until 2021.
Like many others, her parents were thrilled when they realized their daughter’s true talent.
Frances has big plans for this year, set to release new music every month of 2022, including TWO new singles that drop on Valentine’s Day.
With a quickly-expanding fanbase and audience, Kaitlyn is continually reaching new listeners. Her TikTok video sharing her first radio experience reached 3.7 million views, while she has 26 countries streaming her debut single “Electric” including listeners in Canada, the US, the Netherlands, Australia, the U.K., Ireland, New Zealand, Germany, Sweden, Finland and more.
