TUNE IN TO HEAR OTTAWA’S MEGAN LANDRY ON THE #SPOTLIGHT – HEARD DAILY AT 3:40 PM!

From Ottawa, with family in Chatham-Kent, Megan Landry is turning some heads with her unique take on an age-old craft.

Landry’s debut album “Stills” was released in August of 2015 to rave reviews. With her second album nearing it’s release, Megan’s song-writing and unique “quirky” delivery has began to separate her from the pack.

“Mesmerizing stream of consciousness!” commented one fan on this 20 year old Canadian college student’s latest release “Screaming Son”.

An eclectic artist, Landry’s work has been compared to others like Lana Del Ray and St. Vincent. A tapestry of rich lyrics woven with non-traditional chords gives her work a unique quality stamping out her space in the music world.

Landry attributes her work to being an avid reader and heavy consumer of documentaries, news and being tuned into, not just facts, but a true sense of human decency. Politics, coupled with greed, drives too much of our core — robbing us of inner peace.

Her first album, STILLS, released in 2015 netted her two Indie Album of the Year recognitions. This is an artist worth keep an eye on.

“No Politics in Pangea” is the last in a trilogy of socio-political pieces that will be on this album. The other two in the trilogy are “Screaming Sun” and “Questions on the Cliff”.
