Moondog Howlers – Friday Night, August 10th

Moondog Howlers are a dynamic blues band that exudes energy. It incorporates an up-tempo repertoire, guaranteed to get you grooving. “Moondog Howlers is a great band and has one of the best rhythm sections going. These guys know how to get a crowd moving!” ~ Al Lerman, Fathead.

The guys have been fortunate to have shared stages with many national and international recording acts, and are garnering attention wherever they perform.

In 2017, the Moondog Howlers released their all-original debut CD, with special guests Kelly ‘Mr. Chill’ Hoppe (Big Sugar) on harp, and Kelly Authier (The Oh Chays) adding backing vocals. Earlier this year, the band represented the Canada South Blues Society at the International Blues Challenge, in Memphis TN. The band is currently recording its sophomore effort, with that album being slated for release in late 2018.

Cory James Mitchell Band – Saturday, August 11

Based out of Sarnia Ontario, the Cory James Mitchell Band brings a unique sound to the Canadian Country scene that can’t help but catch your attention. The music is gritty, genuine and full of emotion, a barebones style of country blues mixed with the lively backdrops of classic southern rock n’ roll.

The Cory James Mitchell Band recently advanced to the FINALS of the Sirius XM “Top of The Country” contest, recorded for Chevrolet Canada, Boots and Hearts Music Festival AND were a part of Sarnia’s Bluewater BorderFest!
