THIS WEEK’S FEATURED #SPOTLIGHT ARTIST IS LANGTON, ONTARIO’S OLIVIA MAE GRAHAM. THE RISING STAR FROM NORFOLK COUNTY HAS RELEASED HER FIRST ORIGINAL CHRISTMAS SINGLE “ALONE TONIGHT”, WRITTEN ALONGSIDE BOTHWELL’S JAY ALLAN
“Over the holidays last year, I was sitting in my living room staring at our little Christmas tree and had this overwhelming feeling of gratitude that I was able to spend the holidays together with my family like this… The lyrics ‘Santa go ahead and skip my house this year, everything I need I’ve got right here’ fell out of my mouth and I began to write this Christmas song about my little brick house at the end of the street.
This song is all about the little things throughout the holiday season like watching the snow fall or singing your favourite Christmas Carols! No matter where I am in life Christmas has always been about spending time with the ones I love and it’s my hope that this Holiday season no one’s ‘Alone Tonight’.” – Olivia Mae Graham
Born and raised in a small town in Southern, Ontario, Olivia Mae Graham picked up the guitar at age 11, and has been writing and performing her own songs ever since. Olivia Mae Graham is driven to encourage others through the positive messages in her lyrics. Whether listening to her music or interacting with her through social media, her goal is that her fans would feel inspired and personally connected to her.
Olivia will be celebrating this Christmas season by releasing an original Christmas song.  Her holiday single “Alone Tonight” was inspired during a living room songwriting session last Christmas when her co-writer said “I just really hope no one is “Alone Tonight”‘. This song is a great reminder as we head into the holiday season that it’s all about the ones you are with.
‘Alone Tonight’ is available on all major streaming platforms.
