TUNE IN ALL THIS WEEK FOR TALK RADIO ON THE #SPOTLIGHT. HEARD DAILY JUST AFTER 3:30 DURING WEEKDAZE WITH JAY!
Talk Radio is a local four piece alt-rock act with local roots but formed in London in 2018, consisting of Aaron Allen, Aaron Barry, Myles Allen and Dustin Anderson.
Talk Radio brings together local members of Aaron Allen and the Small City Saints, Gracie Mae and Wasted Potential. Collectively, the band draws on influences like Bruce Springsteen, The Gaslight Anthem, the Alkaline Trio and Lucero to create their alt-rock meets country sound.
Recording their self titled 4 track EP in February of 2017 (put out on GetParty! Records), the quartet has already begin to write a follow up record.
“We’ve really tried to take our influences and roll them together”, says Aaron Barry, ”Aaron and Myles are best known for their work in The Small City Saints, which is a lot of old school country and Americana. Dustin plays in two amazing punk bands called Wasted Potential and Snacks?, and I have been best known for playing in Gracie Mae, as well as my old metal band, Anu Beginning. So we kind of take country, punk and ambient rock and toss it all together… and we get Talk Radio.”
