A popular fundraiser has returned to support local Catholic students.
Officials with the St. Clair District Catholic Education Foundation says proceeds from this spring’s 50/50 raffle will directly enhance learning experiences and provide students with essential resources.
Three 50/50 draws were held last year, generating more than $111,000 in total proceeds. Of that, more than $41,000 went directly toward supporting projects and enhancements such as outdoor equipment, team uniforms, technology upgrades, field trips, outdoor learning spaces, and other school-based initiatives
“We are so grateful for the incredible support of our families, staff, volunteers, parish partners, and the broader community,” said Director of Education Lisa Demers in a news release. “Because of this generosity, we are able to help provide meaningful opportunities and enhancements for our students that truly make a difference in their learning and well-being. Every ticket purchased is an investment in our students and a reflection of the strong, caring community that surrounds them.”
The draw will be held May 29.
