St Andrews Season Finale Brings Film Scores to Life

Members of the CK Chamber Orchestra are tuning up for their final performance of the season.

Saturday, June 7 marks the season finale of the Saturdays at 7 series at St Andrew’s United Church in Chatham.

The concert is titled Over the Rainbow, aims to transport the audience through the most memorable film music of the past hundred years. The CK Chamber Orchestra, St. Andrew’s Concert Choir and other local vocalists will perform majestic instrumental scores and captivating vocal numbers.

From the sweeping romance of A Star is Born to the thrilling adventure of Harry Potter and the heartwarming melodies of The Sound of Music, this will be a celebration of the soundtracks that have become as iconic as the films themselves.

Music Director Devon Hansen will also unveil details of the Performing Arts at St Andrew’s upcoming 2025 – 2026 season.

Donations (suggested $20 per person) will be gratefully accepted at the door for Over the Rainbow and will go towards the music program at St. Andrew’s. Doors open at 6:30 pm. All are welcome. For further information refer to www.standrewschatham.org/events.
