St Clair College in Chatham is opening its doors to prospective students – virtually, at least.

John Fairley, VP of College Communications and Community Relations, says tomorrow’s open house, while online, still provides a good example of what college life is all about.

“This little buffet that we’re doing allows anyone; families, parents, grandparents, students, or people who are looking and saying hey let’s see out there, find out what’s available, what’s in the programs, how do I apply,” Fairley says. “We’re going to have all the chairs of all the schools from health sciences and nursing, skilled trades, community studies, business, all there. It’s not all tape recording and things like this, you’re going to have live people to talk to.”

The event also includes virtual tours of the campus, information on scholarships and bursaries, and a snapshot of student life including residences.

There’s a special treat for those who register, with a chance to win one of 10 $1000 scholarships for the fall 2022 semester.

The virtual open house runs from 10am to 1pm on Saturday. CLICK HERE to register.
