A new agreement between a Canadian college and a U.S. University will help to support health sciences students moving between the two post-secondary institutions.
St. Clair College and the Eugene Applebaum College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences at Wayne State University in Detroit have signed a new transfer agreement to streamline the pathway for students seeking to further their education.
The agreement will enable paramedic and occupational therapist assistant/physiotherapist assistant students from St. Clair College to easily move into a degree program at Wayne State.
This will also improve the transfer credit process, ensuring students receive maximum recognition for completed coursework.
“This pathway agreement strengthens the relationship between the university and our friends across the river at St. Clair College,” said Moira Fracassa, Academic Services Officer at Wayne State, in a news release. “[This] provides a smooth transition for health sciences students as they pursue their academic and career goals.”
