Municipal works crews have made repairs to the dike, including reinforcement and paving at various locations.

Mayor Darrin Canniff expects provincial officials will be back in town to assess the area to see if it qualifies for relief funding.

Canniff says all levels of government are working to come up with a long-term solution to the flooding problem that has affected the area for years.
