Provincial Police want kids and parents to be safe during March Break.
As rivers and ditches fill up with water, make sure to stay away from slippery river banks and large ditches.
Make sure your home is secure if you’re going on a trip, and ask a friend of family member to pick up flyers and mail while you’re gone.
If older children are staying at home during the day, make sure to keep doors locked and not answer the door to strangers.
Officers are also reminding motorists to keep an eye out for children who may be biking or playing in the streets, and to drive slowly and carefully.
