Stella Anna Rosa Delanghe of Wallaceburg and formerly of Grande Pointe died suddenly at the Wallaceburg Hospital on Thursday, July 9, 2015 at the age of 88. Stella is the daughter of the late John J. and Bertha (de Jonghe) Waterschoot. Beloved wife of Oscar William Delanghe (November 7, 2014). Loving mother of Mark Delanghe (Arlene) of Wallaceburg and Marlene Delanghe (Richard Hamaura) of Vancouver. Dear grandmother of Peter and Paul Delanghe. Stella was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother who found deep joy in each of these roles. A loyal and lifelong friend to many whose friendship she cherished to the end and who were like the sisters she never had. With an artistic flair, she became a top notch baker who won several gold ribbons due to her natural talents and determination. A skilled seamstress who did everything to perfection. The family will receive relatives and friends at the HAYCOCK-CAVANAGH FUNERAL HOME, 409 Nelson Street in Wallaceburg from 2-4 & 7-9 PM on Sunday. The Funeral Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated at Our Lady Help of Christians Church on Monday, July 13 at 10:30 AM. Interment to follow at Riverview Cemetery.
