STEREOS & NEVEREST

BLIND DOG in WINDSOR – Thursday, April 14

It’s been a whirlwind couple of months for the fellas in Stereos. Since driving cross-country from Edmonton to Toronto to appear on MuchMusic’s disBand (they originally appeared under their former band name Turn It Up!) their star has risen considerably – no longer just another struggling band, they’re looking a lot like future superstars.

Their story is a charmed one: while on disBand they caught the ear of a Universal Music Canada A&R rep and thus Stereos became the first band to be signed to a record label after appearing on the show. Mixing a unique blend R&B, Punk, Pop and Hip-Hop, Stereos have been busy in the studio working on their debut album with Canadian producer extraordinaire Gavin Brown (Metric, Billy Talent).

In the meantime there’s tons in store for Stereos fans: the guys recently shot the video for their first single- “Summer Girl”- last week and the track will be available on iTunes May 26th. On May 27th MuchMusic will air the one hour season finale of disBand, which will document the lives of the band since signing with a major label

There is NO surcharge for this show.

This is a licensed event, I.D. required to purchase alcohol.
