There is still time to get a big jump on career plans for high school students planning to become Personal Support Workers.

The Lambton-Kent District School Board course is still accepting applicants for this fall.

The accredited PSW program is held at Wallaceburg District Secondary School and Sarnia’s Alexander McKenzie Secondary School, and is made up of over 700 hours of study. That includes theoretical and experiential hands-on learning.

Students earn credits toward their diploma and their PSW certificate. More than 15 students graduated in June and received paid placements.

The deadline to apply is September 2nd. Visit ontarioschoolboardpsw.ca for more information.
