A stolen vehicle in Wallaceburg has landed a local man in hot water.
A woman called police just after 7 last night and said her car was missing from a Reaume Avenue parking lot.
According to police, a man visited the owner earlier in the day but after he left the victim noticed her keys were missing.
The vehicle was spotted parked on Westcourt Boulevard last night with the accused sitting in the driver’s seat and police say he was holding the woman’s keys. Authorities allege a pair of subwoofer speakers and the control box had been removed from the vehicle.
The 33-year-old suspect is now charged with theft of a vehicle, possession of stolen property, theft, and mischief.
