Grabbing a cool treat on a hot day has led to charges for one man and the search for another.
Shortly after 1 o’clock this morning, an officer on general patrol noticed two men carrying several boxes of ice cream on Lowe Avenue in Wallaceburg.
Further investigation showed a local business had been broken into.
That prompted a search for the men seen earlier, and a 64-year-old was arrested a short distance away. He has been charged with break and enter and was released from custody with conditions and a date in court next month.
Police are still trying to track down the second suspect.
