Chatham-Kent Police didn’t need long to solve the case of the disappearing license plates.
A woman called police just before 7 last night to say the plates had been stole off her vehicle while it was parked on Thomas Avenue in Wallaceburg.
Just over an hour later, an officer on patrol spotted a vehicle on Main Street with the plates in question.
A 33-year-old woman is now charged with possession of stolen property and multiple Highway Traffic Act offences.
