A vehicle reported stolen in Thamesville has been found, thanks to the keen eye of a local resident.
Authorities say thieves forced their way into a compound on Longwoods Road early Wednesday morning and a company vehicle was stolen.
A citizen had seen a social media post about the theft, and spotted the vehicle in a field near Dresden later that evening.
Police were called and the truck was confirmed to be the same one stolen from Thamesville.
The owners were contacted and were able to retrieve the vehicle.
