A Rodney man is facing charges after being caught with a stolen vehicle.
Chatham-Kent Police received a report of a suspicious vehicle shortly after 8:30 Tuesday evening and responded to Howard Road near Selton Line.
Officers found the vehicle parked on the side of the road with no plates attached, and a man putting fuel in the vehicle.
Authorities confirmed the vehicle had been stolen from Bentpath Line, and the man was arrested. Police say the accused was also wanted on an outstanding warrant from Elgin OPP and bound by conditions and a curfew from Chatham-Kent Police, London Police, and the OPP.
The 31-year-old is now facing charges of possession of stolen property and seven counts of failing to comply with a release order. He was held in custody for a bail hearing.
