Two people have been arrested after a traffic stop in Howard Township.
An officer pulled over a vehicle on Scane Road just after midnight and say the plates were registered to another vehicle, and the vehicle itself had been reported stolen from a Mitton Line business back in August.
The two occupants were arrested.
A 31-year-old Wallaceburg woman was charged with possession of stolen property over $5000. She was released with a future court date.
The 27-year-old Ridgetown man was charged with possession of stolen property over $5000, driving while suspended, and using an unauthorized license plate. He was transported to police headquarters and held pending a bail hearing.
