A strange incident at a home in Dresden Saturday led to a crash, a chase and an arrest.
Chatham-Kent officers were called out to a home on North Street about 11 am.
They say a 58 year old man announced his arrival at the home by crashing his vehicle into a parked vehicle.
He then proceeded to chase the man around waving a lead pipe.
Fortunately no injuries.
The man was charged with Assault with a weapon, Uttering threats, and possession of a weapon dangerous to the public.
The accused was later released on a promise to appear.
