The Chatham-Kent Public Library is inviting high school students to help deliver some holiday cheer, and earn volunteer hours in the process.
Those aged 12 through 18 can stop by any CKPL branch this month and write messages to local seniors. All time spent writing cards will then be added to school-approved volunteer hour forms.
The cards will be handed out in December.
Organizers say it’s a simple way to spread kindness, brighten a senior’s holiday season, and earn community hours towards graduation.
