Just in time for the end of the school break in Ontario the secondary teachers are gearing up for a continuation of rotating one day strikes around the province.
They will pick up again on Wednesday and will again target eight districts.
Windsor and Essex have made the list of impacted school systems, so has Peel Region, the nation’s second biggest district, although the Lambton-Kent District School Board won’t be affected this time around.
The teachers’ union maintains they are doing this over class sizes and e-learning, although the Ford government says the union is misleading the public and it is all about money.
The work to rule campaigns will continue at the elementary level.
The English Catholic school board is also in a legal strike position but leaders have not announced any job action at this point.
