The clock is ticking for local artists inserted in taking part in the Chatham-Kent Arts and Culture Network’s artist studio tour.
The two-day event provides an opportunity for artists to demonstrate their creative process and connect with the public, while participants are able to get a behind the scenes look at local art being brought to life and meet some of Chatham-Kent’s creative minds.
The tour is open to studio-based arts practitioners working in a variety of disciplines and mediums including visual arts, music, dance, photography, and more.
Each application is subject to a jury process or studio visit, with final selections based on the quality of work, presentation, studio or gallery space suitability, and public safety.
The deadline for applications is 4:30pm on Monday, March 31st.
The third annual Artist Studio Tour is set to take place May 31st and June 1st.
