Stunt Driving Charge Laid in Chatham

Stunt driving charges have been laid against a Raleigh Township man.

The accused was caught speeding down Wellington Street in Chatham over the weekend, going more than 40 kilometres over the posted limit.

The 26-year-old was charged, had his vehicle impounded for seven days, and his driver’s license suspended for 30 days.

If convicted, the driver could face a minimum $2000 fine and six demerit points.
