When it comes to construction and traffic in Chatham-Kent, Randy Hope says there’s a lot going on.
Chatham-Kent’s Mayor is hoping to meet with officials from the Ministry of Transportation in the near future.
“To talk about traffic flow both around Wallaceburg and Chatham, but also issues that are happening on the 401, where it seems to be death row around here.”
Hope says that while recent construction projects have caused traffic delays and headaches for drivers, it’s all worth it in the end.
“It’s an inconvenience, but what it does is make the gateways or improvements or visual aspects of our community much better,” Hope says. “We apologize for those businesses or individuals that are affected, but it’s all part of progress.”
