The province has picked their man to lead the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance.
Robert Devitt is the new supervisor of the hospital.
Devitt has a long history in the health care industry, having served as the head of eHealth Ontario, Toronto East General Hospital and the Peterborough Regional Health Centre.
In a release today from the provincial government Devitt stated: “I am looking forward to working with the community, the hospitals, the Ministry and the Erie St. Clair LHIN to address the management and governance issues that have been identified. I will take action to restore the public’s confidence in their local hospitals.”
There have been 21 supervisors appointed over the last 35 years.
